Hey there!
Well, good news! I'm back at work on a new album and 'back in the studio' so to speak. I'm excited to be embarking on this journey and project. I've had this idea hanging around for quite a while and now I'm taking the plunge with it.
Being the history buff that I am, a lot of what I do is strongly influenced by various historical events. For this album, I will be doing a concept album based on the very epic events of the War of the Roses, also known as the Cousins War between the Plantagenets/Yorks and the Tudors/Lanastrians. I have a great fascination with Medieval England and figures of that time like Elizabeth Woodville, Edward IV, Richard III, and Henry VII. I'm planning to have the first part of the album cover the Plantagenets, a brief middle excerpt on Henry VII's reign, and finish it off with the end of Henry VIII's bloodline.
I've started the songwriting process and have also begun working on the scratch tracks. I will be sharing more of the creative process as I go along and look forward to taking you on the journey from now up until the album's release.
